Beginning in mid-September City Year will accept applications from the Common App for positions beginning Summer 2025.

Eligibility

  • 2024-2025 School Year: Must be between 18 and 25 years old as of July 1, 2024.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be a US citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
  • Unfortunately, individuals who have received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) through the US Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as an AmeriCorps Member at this time
  • Have served no more than 3 terms as an active AmeriCorps member

Student Success Coach

  • Supports student learning and development before, during and after school
  • Works full-time schedule each week
  • Serves 1,700 hours throughout the school year
