Hopefully we finally get a new color page for next issue

For those who followed weekly back then, a question:

Did Chainsawman get an announcement that the manga is ENDING, only to be hit with the "part 1 ending" in last chapter? Or did WSJ market it as "part 1 ending" from the onset? (No bait and switch)

This is not a JJK part 2/sequel cope, btw. I know there is absolutely no way it will get any (Gege is obviously done). I am just curious about Chainsaw man.

Wasn't following weekly, but from what I've heard it came right out of left field.
They announced it was ending the week before and basically said 'CP + Special announcement' which turned out to be both the anime and part two.

No, it just "ended" and announced at the same time it would have a "Part 2", we actually knew the manga would end a while before because of a Christmas advertising that included all series being published but not Chainsaw Man and We Never Learn, so we just knew both series would end very soon but it wasn't officially announced 5 chapters before and etc.

lol i got right, the bottom 5 was literally the same series but different placements, good to see Nue and Kill Blue at least above it, and yeah, Astro still managing to be out of the bottom even without axe-bait series!

Yeah, 2nd week in a row with UU in last in place, not looking good, people will just double down in the "rushed ending" thing this week, also starting to get a bit worried about Chojo and Kiyoshi seems like it's possibly just another "it's popular!" blunder by the editors, i don't think is really getting axed this round tho, unless it drops to the bottom 2 and keep there consistently.

Ahhhh i knew it, Nue color page next week!!! once the big battles with great art stopped, the color page return, so i will just assume Kawae didn't want even more work to do in that moment

And 12 consecutive chapters without a cp for UU, the longest gap in the entire serialization since it started ranking...
